ANIME Club

At the request of Kensi Pierce and several other members of ATAC, the teen advisory group at the Athol Public Library, an Anime Club has been formed. The club will meet monthly to view anime films and discuss anime, animation originating from Japan that is based on manga, Japanese comics. The club is open to teens and adults and will meet monthly from 5:00 to 7:00. At the first meeting on Friday, June 27, club members will view Howl's Moving Castle (PG). The Cat Returns (G) is the film which will be shown on July 25, and Princess Mononoke (PG-13) will be viewed on August 22. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
