Take this class if you have never used a computer before. Topics include: computer terminology, and mouse skills training. The Mouse Skills Practice section contains many fun sites!
In these 2 class sessions, you will create an email account, learn how to read, send, and delete email. We will also learn to open, save, and create email attachments.
Email 1 will focus on creating
an email account and sending email.
Email 2 will focus on logging
into email, sending and receiving email.
In these classes you will learn how to search for useful information online. Topics include: news, banking, recipes, etc. Click here to visit a page of useful resources for seniors.
Introduction to Internet will
focus on internet browsing, simple searches, and checking email.
Internet Life Skills will
focus on more internet searches and useful links for seniors.
This course will cover use of accessibility options and similar adjustments that can make your computer easier to use. We will also spend some time learning about the computer's filing system, searching for documents and pictures on your computer.
