The Athol Public Library is closed on all Legal Holidays.

There is an elevator available for your convenience located at the side entrance near the Children's Library.

Directions

From Route 2 heading West

Take exit 18 -- Turn left off the ramp onto Route 2A west -- continue past the high school, hospital, uptown common (all on the left) -- continute towards downtown Athol.  Shortly after the stop sign, the Athol Public Library will be on the right immediately after the Town Hall and across the street from the YMCA.  Metered parking is available on the street or park for free in the parking lot behind the library, which can be reached by taking the first right after the library and then a right into the lot.  Parking is also available in the municipal parking lot which can be reached by going past the library to the traffic light, turning left onto Exchange Street and left into the parking lot. 

From Greenfield / Route 2A heading East

Take 2A all the way into Athol -- go through the downtown traffic light -- the Athol Public Library is about 1/8 of a mile from the light on the left, just before the Town Hall and accross the street from the YMCA.  Metered parking is available on the street or park for free in the parking lot behind the library, which can be reached by taking the first left before the library and then a right into the lot.  Parking is also available in the municipal parking lot which can be reached by turning right at the downtown traffic light onto Exchange Street (near the Pequoiag building on the left) and left into the parking lot.
