The 45th Anniversary of the Friends of the Athol Library

The Friends of the Athol Public Library were established in 1980 to support the library and the use of library resources and services.

Why become a Friend of the Athol Public Library?

When you join the Friends of the Athol Public Library, your membership dues support programs, expand resources, and help keep our beautiful library thriving – all the while connecting with fellow book lovers and community members.

It’s easy to join; just stop by the library circulation desk, sign up and submit your dues. All memberships run from April to April. Quarterly newsletters will be mailed to your home and you will be the first to know of the programs being offered.

What We Do:

  • Sponsor Special Public Events
  • Volunteer at Special Events
  • Sponsor Services: Provide museum passes - - Public color copier - - Notary service - - Fax service - - Promotional materials - - Refreshments for library programs - - Speakers and workshops- - Financial support for the purchase of materials.
  • Services Are Made Possible By: Membership dues - - Donations - - Ongoing Friends of the Library book sale - - Friends of the Library accessories sale - - and other fundraising activities
