Comic Book Fest
Celebrating 5 Years
At the Athol Town Hall
Saturday, October 17
10:00am-3:00pm
Comic Book Fest is getting ready to celebrate its 5th year! The Athol Public Library and their partners at Hero Shack Press will transform the Athol Town Hall into a comic lovers dream! Throughout the day you’ll find demonstrations, Q&As, games, vendors, a cosplay contest, free activities, crafts, and more. There will be something for everyone at this free, family friendly event.
Cosplayers of every age are invited to show off their craftsmanship and fandom in our 4th Annual Cosplay Contest! Our expert judges will be awarding cash prizes in several categories! Plus, last year’s fan favorite Sketch Off hosted by Johnny C is returning. Watch local artists go head-to-head as they sketch out audience ideas on the fly. Plus look for news of more cosplay themed events, TCG meet ups, and more.
This year, over 18 artists are helping to celebrate the Fest's 5th anniversary. Visit familiar faces as they return to the fest with new projects to share and meet new artists joining us for the very first time. Alongside these amazing artists will be local comic book vendors, creative teams, and community groups.
Stay up to date and learn more about participating artists at our Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/
Made possible in part by a grant from the Athol Cultural Council and support from the Friends of the Athol Public Library.
