Dear PC Doctor:
I was trying to look at Massachusetts property records online at the Franklin County Registry of Deeds website. Google Chrome keeps telling me I can’t look at the maps because I have pop-ups disabled. For the life of me, I can’t figure out how to allow the pop-ups. Can you help?
Thanks, Anne
Dear Anne:
This is a tricky one. Open your Google Chrome browser. Look to the upper right hand side of the screen, where you’ll see three horizontal lines. Click on them. Choose “Settings.” Type the word “pop” in the “Search Settings” box. When you get the search results screen, click the button near the top that’s labeled “Content Settings.” Scroll down until you see the section called “Pop-Ups.” Click the radio button next to “Allow all sites to show pop-ups.” You should be all set now!
Until next time… Happy Computing!
