Dear PC Doctor:

Often when I click on a link I get a message “Blocked Plug-in.” I think this is in my setting, but I don't have a clue as to where to find it to allow these links to open. I trust the links because one was the museum information from the library. I have an Apple computer.

Thanks,

Pat

Dear Pat:

I looked at the Apple help site and it might be that the plug-ins are turned off in your security settings. You can try opening the Preferences in your Safari browser. Choose “Security.” At the bottom of that box, you should see some text offering you the choice to “Allow Plug-ins.” You can also click the “Plug-in Settings” button and specify settings to always allow or to ask you for permission each time.

I hope this helps!
Until next time,
Happy Computing!
