Winter Scene Painting Contest!
Email entries due to the children’s librarian by December 28, 2020!
Stay inside and get creative for the Athol Public Library’s all ages Winter Scene Painting Contest! Paint a winter scene! Any scene! Indoor, outdoor, real, or imagined—any scene goes as long as it’s wintery. You can use whatever kind of paint you like, whether that’s watercolors, acrylics, or even finger paint!
When you’re done, send a photo or scan of your painting to our Children’s Librarian at sstanley@cwmars.org, with your name, age, and phone number. After the deadline, entries will be separated into age groups: kids, teens, and adults; and shared on our website and social media pages via a Google form.
Anyone can fill out the form to vote for their favorites in each age group. All kid competitors get a small prize and the winner of each age group will get a grand prize.

Photo tips: Pictures come out best when using natural light! Try taking your painting outside to photograph it—and make sure to angle it so that you don’t get too many shadows.
