Announcing the Winners of the 2021 Biblio’s Book Awards!

Athol Readers Have Spoken

21 Picture Books, 18 Middle Grade Books, 14 Graphic Novels, 27 Young Adult Novels, 40 Novels for Grown Ups, and 20 Non Fiction Books were nominated. 47 Athol readers voted.

Here are the winners:

For Best Picture Book:
It is a tie between The Mitten by Jan Brett
and Morris' Disappearing Bag by Rosemary Wells.

For Best Middle Grade Novel:
The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien

For Best Graphic Novel:
Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson

For Best YA Fiction:
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

For Best Grown-Up Novel:
Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens

For Best Non-Fiction:
A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson
