Are you ready for a squishy, fun craft – perfect for all ages? If the answer is yes, then you’ll want to sign up now to join Robin B. and Emily who will show you how to make and create with salt-dough. If you’ve never made it before, it’s super easy and very satisfying! While most of you probably have what you need in the pantry (salt & flour – that’s it), we’ll provide the first 15 participants with a pre-measured kit. All you need to add is water! Each kit makes enough salt-dough for at least 4-6 “things”. During the workshop we’ll all make our dough together and then show you different techniques and how to make candle holders, ornaments and nifty keepsakes.
After the workshop your salt-dough creations can air dry or be slowly baked in the oven. Once dry, your fabulous artwork can be painted and sealed with Mod-Podge or a similar product. We’ll be getting together after Mother’s Day, but Father’s Day is coming and a salt-dough creation handmade with love is guaranteed to be a hit! The workshop is open to adults and families of all shapes and sizes. It is best suited for kids ages 5 and up with at least one grown up.
