Planning the Future of the Bidwell Site

The Town of Athol invites the community to join us to continue the conversation about the future reuse of the Bidwell Site. Come hear more about the planning process and potential site design concepts. We'll talk about open space preservation and natural resource protection along with active recreation and housing opportunities. Help us take this exciting project to the next step!

The town owns a 100-acre property on South Athol Road and is seeking resident input on potential future uses. A community conversation about the site was helpd in May 2023, which was followed by a town-wide survey, receiving 427 total responses.
