Join the Athol Public Library at 568 Main Street, Athol, on Wednesday, June 6, at 6:00 p.m., when we welcome Sally Cragin for a Tarot Card Reading Workshop.

This workshop will cover the history of the cards, the meaning of the suits, (pentacles, swords, wands and cups), and the Major Arcana cards. Cragin uses the Ryder-Waite deck and talks about the Renaissance-era origins of the cards.

This is a “hands-on” workshop. Everyone will get a chance to practice their reading skills. For the hands on portion of this workshop there will be a three card reading of past, present, and future. The workshop length is roughly 1.5 hours.

Sally Cragin teaches history and writing at Fitchburg State University. She is also the author of Astrological Elements, and Astrology on the Cusp.
