Dear PC Doctor:

I just got a new Alcatel Go Flip phone and I’m setting it up. It came with a little booklet with instructions for recording my voice mail box message, but nowhere does it show how I can listen to my voicemails. I’m so frustrated. Can you help? The service I’m using is Straight Talk.

Thanks,

Joyce

Dear Joyce:

I understand your frustration! What a thing to leave out of the instructional manual. Here is what I found for listening to voicemails with Straight Talk wireless service: On your phone, dial *86. Then, press the button you press when you make a call. (It might say “CALL” or “SEND” on it.) You will hear a greeting and get prompted to press a key, probably the pound sign (#). Then, enter your password or pin that you created when you set up your voicemail.

I hope this helps.

Until next time,

Happy Computing!
