Dear PC Doctor:

I sent an email to myself from my home email account to my work email account. When I got to work and opened the message, it said it was from me via amazonses.com.

What does that mean? Should I be concerned?

Thanks,

Robin

Dear Robin,

There is no reason to be concerned about this. It looks like your home email provider uses Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) as their email vendor.

According to their website, "Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES) is a cloud-based email sending service designed to help digital marketers and application developers send marketing, notification, and transactional emails."

Until Next time,

Happy Computing!
