The newly formed Art Exhibit Committee of the Athol Public Library invites North Quabbin artists to submit work for consideration for exhibitions in the library’s conference room. The Committee will review work for one-person shows and will set an exhibition schedule for May through October 2015. Artists may elect to hold an opening reception. Various hanging media including painting, drawing, printmaking, illustration, photography, textiles and mixed media are eligible. Three dimension art cannot be accommodated at this time, however it is the Committee’s intention to provide for this in the future.
Application forms with submission requirements are available at the adult circulation desk and online at www.athollibrary.org. Submissions for the first six-month cycle are due by April 1, 2015. For further information please email art@athollibrary.org.
