Booked for Lunch Announces September Title!!

We love books and we love talking about books, but we especially love when we can all talk about THE SAME book! And now (finally!) we can – thanks to the interlibrary loan service and curbside pick up!

Robin Brz. Is excited to announce this month’s selection. It’s been on her list for ages and now it’s time to read and talk about the best selling memoir “Educated” by Tara Westover. It has been on the NY Times best seller list since its release in 2018. To date that is 131 weeks on the list, and it’s currently at number 10!

If you’ve never been part of a book discussion group, or maybe have been hesitant to participate in a virtual meeting, why not give it a try? The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Plus, it’s a great opportunity to socialize with other book enthusiasts. Robin says, “One of my favorite things about book group is hearing what resonated with each person. Even though we read the same book everyone responds to it differently. The discussions always show me a new way to look at the story.”

Regular and large print copies of “Educated” are available for pick up at the library. Give us a call during curbside hours to get your copy.

Registration for the virtual discussion is required. Click on the link below to sign up today! We’re using Zoom and you can participate using your computer, tablet, smartphone, or landline.
