Notary Service

The Athol Public Library provides notary service.

Due to the reduction in staff caused by the failure of the Proposition 2 1/2 override vote, notary service is now by appointment only. Please call ahead to make your appointment and to determine the type of identification required for your specific notary needs.

Library notaries cannot offer legal advice and we cannot notarize wills or assist with third-party I-9 forms. Library notaries are also unable to notarize forms in any language other than English. All parties signing the document must be present.

The charge is $2.00 per seal and all proceeds go to the Friends of the Library. For more information please see our Notary Policy.
