Plant Propagation

Thursday, June 25 @ 5:30

Cartoon image of terracota pots with herbs in them.

We will plant seeds and propagate cuttings.

Each participant will take a pot and will mix up some soil using a few secret ingredients and will then pot some root cuttings or propagations, label, water, and take them home where they can be grown indoors or transplanted outdoors. We will more than likely be doing perennial herbs such as chives or sage.

Led by master gardener Kate Donovan of Blackstone Veggie Gardens.

Part of our summer reading program, Plant a Seed, Read!, this workshop is intended for adults.

Made possible by the support of the Friends of the Athol Public Library.

Free and open to the public. Registration is required.
